1. Product and release status
Stonefern Subtitle & Audio Cleanup v0.4.2-beta.7 is currently labeled Beta. Non-stable releases may contain defects, incomplete functionality, or compatibility problems.
2. Authorized media
Use the product only on media you own or are authorized to modify.
3. Local processing
Media inspection and cleanup are performed locally using FFmpeg/FFprobe. Normal cleanup does not upload your media files to Stonefern.
4. File-changing behavior
Unlike Disk Insight, this product can modify your media library by remuxing selected streams and replacing the original after validation. Review your selections before starting.
5. Recovery model
The app writes a temporary output, validates streams and duration, confirms the source did not change during processing, and only then performs replacement. Optional recovery backups may be enabled.
6. Track selection
Language, commentary, SDH/hearing-impaired, forced-subtitle, and preserve-at-least-one-audio rules depend on available media metadata. Review unusual or important files manually.
7. Third-party components
FFmpeg, FFprobe, PySide6/Qt, Python, PyInstaller, and other bundled components remain subject to their own applicable licenses and notices.
