Internet rooms are direct peer connections: anyone who has the room code may be able to learn and connect to the host public IP address while the room is registered. Share room codes only with people you trust. Stonefern does not intentionally relay or store the room audio.

AudioLink is built for sharing the audio from one selected Windows application without broadcasting the whole desktop mix. Local rooms use LAN discovery; optional Internet rooms use a short-lived Stonefern rendezvous to find the host, then the audio still travels directly between peers.
