1. License principle
Third-party software remains the property of its respective copyright holders and is governed by its applicable license. Stonefern does not replace those terms with the Stonefern EULA, and the applicable third-party license controls for the component it covers.
2. Shipping notices control
The exact license texts and third-party notices included with the downloaded product release are the authoritative notice set for that release. This website is a summary and is not a substitute for the files shipped with Disk Insight, Network Repair, PC Repair, DeskLink, AudioLink, StreamLink, or Subtitle & Audio Cleanup.
3. AudioLink codec and networking libraries
AudioLink uses third-party .NET libraries including NAudio for Windows audio integration, Concentus for Opus encoding/decoding, and Open.NAT for optional UPnP/NAT-PMP port mapping. Those components remain subject to their own licenses and notices as included with the shipped release.
4. StreamLink provider APIs and .NET runtime
StreamLink integrates with Twitch, optional Spotify APIs, Windows media-session APIs, and the .NET desktop runtime. Twitch, Spotify, Microsoft, Apple, YouTube, and other referenced services or marks remain subject to their own terms, developer rules, trademarks, and availability. Shipping third-party notices control for any redistributable components included with the signed installer.
3. FFmpeg / FFprobe
Subtitle & Audio Cleanup is designed to interoperate with FFmpeg and FFprobe for local media inspection and remuxing. The exact FFmpeg build and configuration determine the applicable LGPL/GPL obligations. Any Stonefern release that distributes FFmpeg binaries must include or provide the notices and source/access information required by the license governing that build.
4. Qt for Python / PySide6
Current Stonefern desktop products may use PySide6 and Qt components. Where an open-source Qt licensing path is used, Stonefern intends to distribute the applicable product in a way that preserves the rights and obligations of the licenses covering the components actually shipped.
5. Python, PyInstaller, and other runtime libraries
Packaged Stonefern releases may include a Python runtime, PyInstaller bootloader, cryptography libraries, Pillow, or other runtime dependencies. Those components remain subject to their respective licenses and exceptions, and release-specific notices should identify the components actually included.
6. Source, relinking, and notice materials
Where an applicable open-source license requires corresponding source, replacement/relinking information, license copies, notices, or another form of availability, Stonefern will provide or retain those materials as required for the exact public release.
7. Release verification
A product should not be treated as release-ready merely because a development executable runs. Public distribution review includes the actual installer, bundled dependencies, notices, and the applicable release-signing/update workflow.
8. No endorsement
Reference to FFmpeg, Qt, Python, PyInstaller, Pillow, cryptography, or another third-party project does not imply that project endorses Stonefern Works. Stonefern does not claim ownership of third-party names, code, or trademarks.
