1. Product and release status
Stonefern Relay v0.2.0 is currently labeled Developer preview. Non-stable releases may contain defects, incomplete functionality, or compatibility problems.
2. Preview scope
This version does not capture, encode, transmit or play live desktop streams. The optional unattended service is not installed.
3. Local preferences
Saved computer addresses and streaming preferences are stored locally. Saving an address does not pair with that computer.
4. Update traffic
When enabled, update checks contact stonefernworks.com over HTTPS at startup and periodically. Installation requires user action and a valid release signature.
5. Device access
Controller diagnostics read supported connected gamepads. Rumble runs only when requested.
